The National Economic Council (NEC) coordinates economic policy across the executive branch and advises the president on domestic and international economic issues. It is part of the Executive Office of the President.
Functions
- Policy development and interagency coordination on growth, jobs, trade, and finance.
- Works alongside the Council of Economic Advisers and Office of Management and Budget.
